How can I get a generic link to the web version of my email?

The web version of an email can be useful to share on a website or social channel.

You can obtain this link in two ways:

  1. From the email preview
  2. From the Mailing Archive plugin

From the email preview

  1. Go to Content → Emails.
  2. Click the blue check button next to the desired email.
  3. If the web version link is included in the template:
    • Hold CTRL and click the link,
    • or right-click and choose Copy link or Open in new tab.
  4. Note: You cannot open the web version inside Spotler MailPro — it will be blocked. Always open it in a separate browser tab.

From the Mailing Archive plugin

No link in your email? Or want a quick overview of all mailings? Use the Mailing Archive plugin:

  1. Go to Content → System pages.
  2. Click the Help icon next to mailing_archive.
  3. In the help window, click the link to open the archive of all mailings from this campaign.

Can’t find the mailing in the archive? You may need to enable it for archiving.

It is not advisable to use the link from a personalized email (such as one sent to yourself). This link contains personal information and unsubscribe options, and it expires 60 days after sending.

If you want to show or share the mailing, it’s better to use the generic web version link. This version is based on a sample contact (user@example.com), contains no personal information, and remains permanently valid.
