Do you want to know what the spam score of your email is and whether your hyperlinks are working properly? You can check this and more in the mail analysis.
The mail analysis can be found in the editor, where you format the email.
The mail analysis consists of several tabs:
SpamAssassin Score
Try to keep the score of the SpamAssassin as low as possible. You can do this by avoiding unnecessary capital letters or strange characters in your e-mail. Try to avoid trigger words like "urgent" and "100% free". Make sure your email has a good balance between text and images.
Images
Here you can see how large the images are in kB. Try to keep your images under 100 kB. The smaller the images in an email, the faster it will be loaded for the recipient. Large images also take up a lot of data from recipients with a mobile data plan.
In addition, you can see whether an Alternative text (ALT text) has been applied to an image. We recommend that you give each image an ALT text. If an image is not loaded by an email client by default, the reader can still see the message of your image. Screen readers also read the ALT text, which is nice for people with a visual impairment. This contributes to the digital accessibility of your newsletter.
Hyperlink
It is useful to check the hyperlinks. When you see a red cross, one of the links in your email is broken. In addition, you will see the name of the link under Clickname. Check whether it has been filled in and is correct. Clicks are only measured in the statistics if they have a clickname. Links with identical clicknames will be grouped together in the statistics.
Personalisation
In the personalisation section, you can see which variables are used in your email. If a variable doesn't work, a red cross will show up next to it. So, in this example, contact.lastnam is an incorrect variable.
