There are two ways of adding files to your emails in Spotler MailPro. The first possibility is to add the file as an attachment to the email. The recipient will receive the attachment just like you would see when it is added in an email client. The second way is to upload the file to the media library and integrate the document in the email via a URL.
Please pay attention to the size of the files. You can save a lot of valuable MB for your recipients by compressing the files.
Adding a file as an attachment to the email
When adding a file as an attachment to the email, the recipient sees the attachment directly in the email. It can also be opened directly in the email client. This way of adding an attachment can be done when creating a new email or editing an existing email. In the sub menu Advanced, you can insert an attachment to the email. The maximum size for files as attachment is set to 0.25 MB by default.
Adding an attachment as a URL
It is also possible to upload a file to the media library in Spotler MailPro and link to the file in the email. This way you can use buttons, text links or images as a link to your file. To set this up, go to Setup → Media assets. Upload the file here. After the file is uploaded, right-click “copy URL” and paste the copied link into your email.
Adding a personalized attachment
