When both SMS and WhatsApp are used for the same contact, the newest sent message overwrites the previous values in {last_message_id} and {last_message_date}. For example, a WhatsApp message can overwrite the last SMS values, and an SMS message can overwrite the last WhatsApp values.

After the required database fields are available, Spotler MailPro can use the contact’s mobile phone number for supported SMS and WhatsApp messages. Spotler MailPro can also store the ID and date of the last sent message for later use in segmentation, personalization, or reporting workflows.
