Database fields of the following input type are limited to allowed values:
- Radio
- Select
- Multicheckbox
- Checkbox
You can see which values are allowed when you change a field. Here's how:
- Select a field by clicking.
- Then click Edit.
- A screen will open with the settings of your database field. Scroll down and click edit at Inputtype.
- You will now see the settings of the values of the field. Keep the database value in mind. This is the value as it is used in the database. In the example below, there are three possible values for Gender, namely m, f and o. These are case-sensitive. When importing contacts, these values must exactly match the defined database value. If this is not the case, you will see this in the import error.
We recommend keeping the database values as simple and short as possible. To reduce the chance of mistakes, don't use accents, spaces, or capital letters.
