Summary

The main purpose of the Summary tab within the MailPro Reporting functionality is to give the user a clear and complete overview of the overall results of an executed e-mail campaign (mails sent, accepted, bounces, unsubscribes, etc.). The executed e-mail campaign of your choice can be selected on top of the screen through Active filters. The overview can be refreshed and updated at all times by clicking the Refresh button at the upper right side of the screen.

In this article you will learn more about:

Active filters

At the top of the screen, you’ll find the Active Filters and a blue Filter button. Here, the user can select the executed campaign and sendout time. A new feature called Segmentation allows additional filtering, such as by language. The campaign results will then be split accordingly (e.g. 100 bounces – FR recipients, 50 bounces – NL).

Summary: Percentages compared to Total emails sent

Below the selected campaign, a general summary is shown, including: total e-mails sent, accepted, hard-bounces, and soft-bounces. For each, the number and percentage are displayed. A bounce means the message was not delivered to the recipient. A hard-bounce typically means the email address is incorrect. A soft-bounce often results from a full inbox.

Clicking the i-icon next to each term provides a definition.

Summary: Percentages compared to Total emails accepted

On the left side of the summary, a bar chart shows the number of sent and accepted mails, as well as opens and clicks, based on unique recipients.

Summary: Data based on unique recipients

The summary also includes total and unique opens, renders, and click-throughs. The difference: total counts every instance, unique counts per recipient. For example, if a user opens an email three times, that counts as three total opens but one unique open.

Also included: Click-to-Open-rate (CTO), Trigger hits, Unsubscribers, Spam complaints, and Mail a Friend. Again, definitions are accessible via the i-icon.

Sendouts

At the bottom of the screen, an overview shows how many sendouts were executed for the selected campaign. Additional data includes: start date and time, selected groups, filters, duration, and average emails per hour.
