Note when using overall templates
Your template may have been set up at the overall level instead of within the campaign itself. In that case, you won’t be able to edit it through the campaign settings. Go to the overall level to manage the template.
❗ Important: any changes to an overall template will automatically apply to all campaigns where that template is used.
The Drag & Drop editor Layouts page in the Setup module of Spotler MailPro is designed for managing template layouts. This page is only accessed to insert a small piece of code required for templates to function properly. Spotler handles this process for you.
The layout itself is a simple table that creates space for content blocks. When creating a new template, a layout is generated, and its layout ID is placed in the template under data-layout-type, as shown here:
Please note: Preferably do not edit your own layout
Creating and managing your own templates requires knowledge of HTML, Twig, and CSS. Spotler's support team does not provide assistance for custom templates. Additionally, backups of templates and blocks are not typically maintained, so proceed with caution when making changes.
